The adaptability of organic glass products to the environment

Organic glass products are made from polymethyl methacrylate.Poly(methyl methacrylate) contains polar side methyl groups.Has a strong moisture-absorbing property. The water absorption rate of acrylic sheets should generally be kept dry.The drying conditions are to dry at 78℃ – 80℃ for 5 – 6 hours.

Acrylic products are an intangible polymer, and their shrinkage range is decreasing, generally between 0.45% and 0.9%.Therefore, it provides excellent conditions for the forming accuracy of acrylic products. Generally speaking, the forming process is very accurate.

Due to the limited adaptability of polymethyl methacrylate to ambient temperature, it does not exhibit the fluidity of ordinary fluids.Rather, it has the property of non-Newtonian fluidity. Therefore, under high temperature conditions, the solubility and tackiness of acrylic products will decrease.

The temperature of the organic glass products during the flowing process is generally around 150℃.But when acrylic products begin to decompose, the temperature is actually above 270℃.It is not affected by temperature. The ability to withstand high temperatures is a characteristic of organic glass products.

Acrylic products have very good cutting performance.Processing can be carried out through laser cutting when the dimensions have been measured accurately. It is simple and high-quality, so acrylic products can withstand various environments of high and low temperatures without worrying about temperature issues during the production process.
